Interesting Link: Airlines Are Getting Stingier, And It’s All Your Fault

A recent article in the online magazine Salon discusses how despite airlines continue to cut on amenities, passengers continue to fly. It cited the example of ultra low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines, which it said despite charging myriad fees and having a reputation for bad customer service is still the most profitable carrier in the United States.

I’ve written about Ben Baldanza making the case for Spirit Airlines, along with Delta’s effort to put a Spirit-like product on some key routes where it competes with the Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based carrier.
