In October 2013, I attended the AOPA annual convention in Fort Worth, Texas. For some crazy reason, I ended up at Dallas Love Field four hours before my actual flight departure. That gave me plenty of time to wander and take photos like the #avgeek that I am. I took this one in front of the Cool River Cafe.
I was recently at Dallas Love Field to help Southwest Airlines celebrate the end of the Wright Amendment (my story on that for AirwaysNews.com here). Virgin America also celebrated its move from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to Love Field, so I decided to hop across the hall for their festivities. Below is a photo I snapped in the Virgin America gate area. Enjoy!
Back in October, I was in Fort Worth, Texas, for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association’s Aviation Summit. I got to Dallas Love Field early for my flight, so I had some time to kill. The airport recently went through a major upgrade, and I like what they’ve done to the space. Below are some cool red heart-shaped chairs I’ld gladly put in my living room. Enjoy!
