Back in August, as part of my day job, I got to fly the AOPA Cessna Grand Caravan down to First Flight Airport in North Carolina to celebrate Orville Wright’s birthday. It was a great event, with presentations, events and kite flying. Enjoy this shot, below.
One of the things I love best about my day job is that I am steeped in aviation, past, present and future. Today, I got to sample the past when a group of us from AOPA came down to First Flight Airport (KFFA) in North Carolina today to rededicate a pilot facility that opened 10 years ago during the Centennial of Flight.
