I went to London four times in 2014. And every time, I’ve always set aside time to take photos at London Heathrow Airport.  Below is a shot I took that includes a great view of four global carriers, including British Airways’ Boeing 747 in the oneworld livery. Enjoy!

The family went to Paris and London for Christmas. It was great fun, but my favorite part, of course, was the airports.  As we returned home from London Heathrow, we had time to kill sitting in the No. 1 Lounge in Terminal 3. The lounge had great views of the airport, so I snapped this pic of the Finnair Santa Claus jet being deiced. Enjoy!

Last week, I got the chance to attend the landing of the inaugural British Airways’ Airbus A380 flight from London Heathrow Airport to Washington Dulles International Airport. We had a chance to get on the aircraft, and I took a pile of photos.  Below is one I took of the economy class cabin on the upper deck.  Enjoy!

Back in November 2008, I got to do an #avgeek’s dream — taking a behind-the-scenes tour of British Airways’ Terminal 5 at London Heathrow Airport. As I was spending time on the ramp, I was able to snap this photo of aircraft lined up, conga style, to depart the airport.  Enjoy!!

I was doing a tour of British Airways’ Terminal 5 at London Heathrow Airport in November 2008. And you know that when I’m at an airport, especially an international one, the camera will come out to shoot aircraft and liveries. Below is a shot I snapped from my Club World seat of British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and American Airlines lined up perfectly. Enjoy!
