In April, I had the chance to do a tour of Terminal 3 at Las Vegas’s McCarran International Airport. One of the highlights was all the art projects around the terminal.  Below is a butterfly sculpture that, if you look closely, has wings that feature airlines that have served the airport. How many carriers can you pick out? Enjoy!

A year ago, our family went to Tokyo for 10 days to celebrate Baby Digital’s 10th birthday. My poor family — I dragged them to Tokyo Narita Airport three hours early so I could take photos of all the world’s airlines parked at the gates.  Below is one I took of a United Airlines Boeing 747. And today is Election Day, so please don’t forget to vote!!

In April 2008, I had the chance to travel to Seoul, South Korea to do a series of stories on Korean Air. After landing at Incheon International Airport, I had the chance to take some photos of the heavy metal parked at different gates. Below is a Northwest Airlines Airbus A330 I snapped. NWA is gone, but not forgotten. Enjoy!

In December 2014, I had the chance to travel to New Delhi, India, to attend the Star Alliance meeting. As part of that event, I was encouraged to fly on Star Alliance carriers. The shot below is one I took of the Lufthansa Airbus A380 I flew from New Delhi to Frankfurt. Enjoy!

During one of my many visits to Delta Air Lines’ headquarters in Atlanta, I always enjoyed visiting the Delta Flight Museum. When I worked at the carrier, I used to enjoy eating my lunch there and volunteering for events. One of the crown jewels in the museum collection is the Spirit of Delta, a Boeing 767 that was donated to the airline by its employees in 1982. Inside, it holds historical items, including my photo below of a pair of Concorde models in the Delta livery. Enjoy!
